Marc Worrell specialises in Web based systems. Realising projects through pragmatic yet innovative solutions. Consultancy for technical requirements, guidance with the implementation of software and assessment of software quality.

He has an extensive background in a wide field of information technology, rannging from social web 2.0 sites and multimedia databases to generating assemblers for embedded systems.

Marc’s main interests are elegancy in software systems, scaling and efficiency of web sites, rowing and his son Tycho.

Until recent he was a partner of Mediamatic Lab. There he was the CTO and responsible for the information management system anyMeta.

anyMeta is a semantic web based system that is used to build online communities. Extreme flexibility, easy maintenance, scaling, and user friendliness are keypoints. The anyMeta system is in use for many different sites, some are listed in the web sites section of the portfolio.

Marc maintains a couple of small open source projects.
